Raymond Gonzales

​Gonzales is an accomplished business, operations, and human resources executive. As the president of ABA Veterinary Alliance, he managed a complex multi-state group of veterinary practices. His experience includes opening new facilities and creating successful operations and teams as well as leading organizations through process, performance, and culture improvements.

Gonzales has extensive nonprofit management experience. He was the co-founder of East Bay Animal Rescue and Refuge, a 501(c)(3) organization in California’s Bay Area. He led the organization for eight years before moving east. His experience there included organizational management, volunteer engagement, rescue and animal care, pet adoption, and fundraising. He also managed the nonprofit Tri-State Veterinary Foundation.

Additionally, Gonzales has led, trained, and coached large teams of over 350 people and managed operations for over 65 locations over 20 years while in the role of Regional Director for Safeway. He has a track record of strong leadership, successful growth, and building collaborative community relationships.

Gonzales is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science. He is a Society of Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
